We are pleased to announce that the GMI Biogas Subcommittee is collaborating with the World Biogas Association (WBA) at the World Biogas Summit to discuss some of the industry’s most pressing issues.
While using biogas – or the further refined “biomethane” – is generally seen as a good thing, achieving climate benefit or “carbon neutrality” is not a given. Join the GMI Biogas Subcommittee on Tuesday, 6 October 2020 for a virtual Subcommittee meeting followed by a joint panel discussion co-hosted and moderated by GMI and WBA:
- The GMI Biogas Subcommittee meeting will feature discussions on how members can bridge the gap between developers and national policy and setting goals for action in our 2021 Action Plan. The meeting will be conducted from 12:00 – 1:00 UTC. Click here to confirm local time zone.
- The WBA-GMI panel, “Carbon Neutrality – Climate Benefits of Biogas”, will introduce several projects that demonstrate successful documentation of climate benefits through lifecycle analysis and efforts by “Biogas Done Right™” to incorporate these measures into replicable best practices. The panel is 14:30 – 16:00 UTC. Click here to confirm local time zone.
